The leaves are falling and the north wind is blowing.

After more than a month passed, the maid in blue came to the hall to announce that Yaoshi Du was back. When Quincy Qin heard this, he stood up suddenly, his expression darkened, and he forced himself back to his seat. Carter Chu glanced at him, smiled with unknown meaning, and continued to peel the kumquats in his hand.

Not long after, Donovan Du walked to the door reluctantly. He was nervous, and when he saw Quincy Qin avoiding his gaze, he became even more uneasy. He stammered for a while and said dryly, "I'm back."

Quincy Qin tilted his head slightly to see clearly his face and said nothing.

Carter Chu kindly responded to him, "Oh, you actually remembered to come back? Why don't you stay at your cousin's place for a few more days?"
