There are generally two types of people who are particularly good at English in high school.

One that can accurately break down the subject, predicate, object, attributive, adverbial, and complement of each sentence, and explain every grammatical point in it, so that you will know exactly what to choose and what not to choose for each question, and where you are right and wrong.

There is another one that relies on two words: sense of language.

Ava Yang can tell which student belongs to which type just by taking a glance at the test paper, because the former like to circle and draw when doing the questions, and there are always many marks on the test paper, while the latter basically only have abcd.

The students she has are very distinct. Kevin Jiang,   Qi Jiahao, and the student committee members and class monitors in the second echelon are all grammar-oriented, while Liam Sheng is a rare language-sense-oriented student.
