When Oliver came back with the water bag, Felicity was the only one left in front of the stone tablet. She sat there quietly, but strangely, there was a red apple in her hand.
Oliver wrinkled his nose in some surprise, raised his hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead, and took the apple from Felicity's open hand without hesitation.
"Where are the apples? Where are the preserved fruits I gave you?"
After Oliver had taken a bite of the apple, Felicity belatedly reminded the delicate unicorn not to eat anything carelessly. But strangely, Oliver was not burned by the apple from the demon world, but his tongue was hurt. He stared at the innocent apple with a bitter face and resentment.
"How can this apple be so sour! And the flesh is so rough, like chewing wet sand!"
