"How do you know it won't happen?" Junko retorted, "We said before that we would never separate." When the words fell, Iwaizumi was stunned, and Junko was also stunned.
She pursed her lips, feeling that she had said the wrong thing, but it seemed that she had not. The excitement that had been high since she saw Iwaizumi subsided, and she remembered that they would be separated soon.
Only when you grow up do you realize that the promises made in childhood are more fragile than paper. There are too many unexpected things and too many helpless things.
Junko's side sank slightly. Iwaizumi sat beside her and hugged her gently: "Don't be sad. The separation is only temporary. There is still a long future."
The word "future..." is really too far away. Junko has never thought about what career she will pursue in the future, whether in Tokyo or back to Miyagi. She couldn't imagine the world of adults, but it should be a more cruel separation.
