This Red is Blood Chapter 4

This is a roster.

The Arabic numerals and Chinese names in the booklet gave Vivian a great sense of security.

The year of the book is 2013, and it contains the attendance records of Class 9, Grade 2.

There is a month's attendance form listed above. A cross should mean no attendance, while a check mark means the opposite.

Wesley Si and Amelia Su planned to use the elimination method to circle the names with the most crossed names.

Calvin Hu touched his chin:

"Is there just one 'she', or are there several? If there is only one person, it cannot be ruled out."

He was right, because several people's crossed-out records were tied for first place, and some records completely overlapped. They were probably small teams in the class, and the emphasis was on going in and out together.

Vivian looked through the roster:

"But there are no other markings on this. If you don't search the table holes, there may be something missing---"

Looking up inadvertently, she was stuck.

Pushing down the last person sitting in a black plastic bag, Jasper Ming searched the hole in the table and stood up as if nothing had happened:

"The search is over, there is no other information."

Everyone looked at the man in a black plastic bag who had already spread all over the ground and looked at him again.

...

Jasper Ming raised her eyebrows:

"Don't believe me? Then come down and search."

Calvin Hu's scalp went numb as soon as he saw these weird things. He felt his hair standing on end when he got closer. He waved his hand quickly:

"Brother Ming! You are my brother now! We believe it!"

Vivian reluctantly tried to find new clues on the wall, but found nothing.

There is no blackboard newspaper, no stickers other than school rules, and their only source of information is this roster.

Amelia Su suddenly remembered something and looked at Arthur Yan timidly:

"Yan...Brother Yan, I was in the security room before. I remember there seemed to be some paper information, right?"

The man's passionate eyes turned around, and the flashing light made people dare not look closely:

"Yes, but it shouldn't contribute much to the answer."

He took out a rolled up booklet from his sleeve and placed it on the podium:

"It's the security booth's visit record."

The booklet was a thick stack, and I had no idea how he managed to put it into his sleeve.

At first, everyone found this book a treasure.

Especially when he discovered that all visit records ended on August 12, 2013, Calvin Hu exclaimed loudly:

"Its cut-off year is the same as the roster! And there is blood on this book. Look, there are so many blank pages at the back, indicating that the record was suddenly interrupted."

"It's possible that everyone in the school died on this day, and the students were suffocated to death with black plastic bags over their heads. And the 'she' in this question should be a student in this class!"

Calvin Hu suddenly felt that he had occupied the IQ high ground.

Vivian next to her was kind but speechless, holding her forehead:

"The teacher has said it before, this 'she' is in Class 9. The question is, who is this 'she'! What we are looking for now is her name, not what happened behind it, that doesn't matter. "

Su weakly expressed his agreement:

"Indeed, and there is no one from Class 9 in the visit record on August 12th. Everyone should come to school as normal."

Calvin Hu was stuck for a moment, and immediately grabbed the visit record to study:

"Rule, there must be some pattern here!"

He flipped through the thick pile, trying to find connections within it.

Seeing his nephew's efforts, Theodore Hu overcame his own psychological barriers and went to pick off the plastic bag man's headgear and clothes, intending to help him, hoping to find some clues from them.

But as soon as he started to pull the plastic bag, the body that was leaning on the ground suddenly jumped upright, almost giving Theodore Hu a heart attack!

The right hand of the body showed a stiff grasping posture. If he hadn't dodged in time, he might have been pinched in the neck by the other party. There is no need to say more about the consequences.

He stopped thinking about checking, walked back to his nephew silently, gathered his energy, and studied the visit records.

Amelia Su had another idea. She repeatedly copied the content on the blackboard in the palm of her hand:

"I think the attendance record is a misleading item, and the answer should be hidden in the place where the question is asked. OK, how do you write the word 'she' in Korean... I think the answer may have something to do with the strokes."

Vivian scratched her head and secretly glanced at the thoughtful black-haired man:

"I don't know. I just learned it casually from Korean dramas...According to Chinese strokes, there may be seven strokes...Arthur Yan, what do you think?"

Jasper Ming was originally sitting on the podium holding his student card and looking at it.

He tried to correlate the digital information that could be found at the moment, and suddenly heard Arthur Yan's annoyingly gentle voice:

"The goal of Infinite Lord is not to let us decipher it, but to plunder flesh and soul. Telling the answer does not mean gaining peace. If you follow Infernal Lord's ideas, you will not be able to leave here."

Vivian was so anxious:

"That doesn't matter, let's get through this first."

The man seemed to sigh:

"1130 does not seem to be a common building number in schools, especially classroom No. 30. Usually there are not enough 30 rooms on one floor."

I don’t know why the topic suddenly changed, but Vivian spread her hands:

"Look at the school. Some schools will combine adjacent buildings into one building for numbering."

The man's beautiful eyes stayed on her:

"Then why does classroom number 30 represent Class 9? Maybe there is a connection between Class 9 and this classroom number?"

The girl scratched her head even more and tried to answer with her own common sense:

"However, some schools may arrange classroom numbers that are not related to classes..."

Jasper Ming clicked her tongue and suddenly said:

"Number 29."

Vivian was very confused:

"What's the 29th?"

Jasper Ming's eyes flickered towards the man who pursed his lips and smiled:

"The answer is student number 29. Let's see if it's a girl."

The incandescent light suddenly flashed twice, and the classroom briefly fell into pure darkness.

"Buzz."

The lights came back on, and Amelia Su, who was holding the roster, quickly searched while the light was still there and read out the corresponding names:

"Kim Sook-eun...sounds like a girl."

Calvin Hu was analyzing the visit records when he was suddenly interrupted and was stunned for a moment:

"Why is it 29? How did you push it?"

Jasper Ming said matter-of-factly:

"Add each digit of 1130 to 9, and take the single digit of the added digit to get 0029, which is number 29."

Calvin Hu didn't come to his senses and was a little dissatisfied:

"Why this algorithm? Why is it 9? Is it because it is Class 9? Then why don't you add 2013?"

The young man chuckled and lazily put down his student card:

"It's a process of elimination. There are forty-nine people in total, and their student numbers all end with two digits. You can add them by yourself, and see if you can add two digits?"

Colin Yao, who was originally leaning against the podium, suddenly shouted with a trembling voice:

"...Are they, are they approaching?"

Several of the people in black plastic bags who had fallen to the ground had stood up and stopped silently in the aisle between the desks.

The incandescent light flickered intermittently again.

"Buzz."

In the pale light, more "people" stood up and got closer and closer to them.

Jasper Ming came down from the podium.

The classroom fell into darkness again.

A dim blue light filled the classroom. He put his fingers into his collar and grasped something hanging from a silver chain.

Arthur Yan, who was standing next to him, quickly scanned his movements with an unpredictable scrutiny.

"Buzz."

These "people" have already reached the podium, only one step away from them.

They were forced to retreat into a small space, and several of them were forced to press their backs against the cold blackboard.

Amelia Su's voice was trembling:

"What does this mean? Did we get the answer wrong..."

Arthur Yan, who had not moved, chuckled and replied gently:

"No, we're right."

"But here, answers don't mean peace."

The incandescent lamp went out silently.

Evil red light exploded from the podium, and other people who were leaning against the wall suddenly discovered that these people in black plastic bags had surrounded Jasper Ming and Arthur Yan!

The blood-red light in the center was extremely dazzling, but layers of strange creatures blocked their view, making it impossible for them to see the two people!

When his left hand was grabbed by the cold black plastic bag man, Jasper Ming wanted to take action.

But Arthur Yan, who was also caught, looked calm, so he restrained his thoughts of taking action.

The hands of the two were forced together, and between the intertwined fingers, the glowing red pencil was pressed into the tiger's mouth by the force of each other.

---Bixian.

They exchanged quick glances.

Under the pencil was the roster spread out. The incandescent lamp flickered more and more frequently, and the two people's clasped hands moved involuntarily!

A messy thin sound penetrated from the ears, accompanied by a cold, male-female voice:

"Whoever guesses... whoever guesses... there will be a reward... ho ho... reward..."

"Don't close your eyes... don't close your eyes... don't close your eyes... I'll give you a reward... a reward... a reward... ho ho... award...!"

At the moment when the sinister wind gusted, Arthur Yan's forehead hair was blown into chaos, and the red eyes showed a strange color from the mess, making the blue pupil on the right side become darker and darker, almost blending into the darkness.

Compared with the weirdness around him, he is more like a legendary ghost.

"I heard that if you don't close your eyes when the pen fairy is in love, you will be possessed by the pen fairy."

Jasper Ming sneered:

"If you don't dare to look, you can just say so."

Arthur Yan smiled and nodded:

"I'm curious, if we don't close our eyes, who will it choose?"

As expected, none of them closed their eyes.

The hand holding the pen moved wildly across the roster, the lead sliding rapidly around the four names.

They were instantly enveloped in thick black fog, completely cutting off the sight and sound of other people.

Suddenly, bright purple light flashed in Jasper Ming's pure black eyes.

The thick fog trying to fall on his shoulders was like water dripping into oil, and immediately exploded into brilliant white flames!

The black mist twisted and let out a scream that echoed through the sky!

"... Shuen... Shuen... is mother... mother... Bixian will let you see... Shuen... ..Don’t resist…”

The black mist in pain still continued to approach without giving up, but what it got was a more intense and comprehensive burning!

As the screams became weaker, the white-haired young man's eyes changed from pure black to extremely pure lavender.

Just like sunlight shining into a highly transparent gemstone, it is breathtakingly beautiful.

Arthur Yan finally showed an expression other than a smile.

The yin and yang pupils of crape myrtle in Qingdu.

How could it be on this person? !

The young man seemed to have no intention of covering up, and just looked at him directly.

"It seems that it chose me, but unfortunately, I don't seem to die that easily."

Snap, snap.

Red blood dripped from the tip of the pen.

The black fog dispersed.

The sound of skin and bones exploding was heard.

The black plastic bags with disintegrated flesh and blood fell down together, and the shredded flesh and skin wrapped in clothes flowed out from the sleeves or trouser legs, presenting a thick red rain to the world.
