As if being stuffed into a cramped black box, Lin Guo moved a little and felt his whole body aching from being in such a curled-up position.
The tightly fastened plastic straps were so tight that it hurt his wrists. The rag stuffed in his mouth also gave off an unknown sour odor. The air mixed with the smell of blood and dust rushed into Lin Guo's nostrils, making his head dizzy - where am I?
His thoughts seemed to float lightly in the sky. This unreal feeling immediately made Lin Guo realize that he was in a dream. However, the surrounding environment was too realistic that after Lin Guo held his breath, he could even hear the fearful and rapid heartbeat in his ears.
It was pitch dark in the box, with only a tiny hole for ventilation letting in a faint light. Moving his head with difficulty to estimate the size of the box, Lin Guo realized that "he" should still be a child of seven or eight years old.
The rude conversation of the men with accents came vaguely from outside the box, as if it was separated by a layer of fog and could not be heard clearly. Lin Guo concentrated on listening, but suddenly he felt a chill as if someone was hugging him from behind the wall of the box.
