Griffin didn't want to be so embarrassed, but blushing was something she couldn't control. Griffin really wanted to ask Levi to find out if he understood it. Did he read too many stories?! What does... not enough to eat... mean?
Griffin was so angry that her head hurt. She lowered her voice and whispered, "May I ask, my lord...what have I eaten from you?"
Levi was startled, and glanced towards the door, his eyes full of disbelief, "How dare you ask?!"
Griffin paused, and suddenly realized something, and was horrified: "You asked the guard to teach me a lesson in the middle of the night. Could it be that you woke up in the middle of the night and remembered that I licked you, and you were so angry that you wanted to hit me?"
Levi glanced at Griffin and said without explaining, "It's good enough that you understand it in your heart."
