The light penetrated through the carved gap on the door, illuminating Grayson Ding's smiling face even more confidently. He squeezed Caleb Ji across a ball of quilt and refused to leave unless he agreed, determined to get a sweet treat.
Caleb Ji was still carrying a bag of snacks, so he didn't even have the confidence to get angry. "Don't make trouble with me." That's all he could say, and it seemed like he didn't say anything. "I'll help you water your flowers, wash your clothes, and do whatever else you want. Please spare me."
Before Grayson Ding responded, there was a sound of high heels outside, and it was Elliott Jiang who came to ask them to eat. He felt Caleb Ji's body tense up and pressed, "You don't agree? Then I'll call my aunt over. I'm not afraid of others knowing."
Caleb Ji shook his head in panic, raised his hand to cover Grayson Ding's mouth, and when his palm was gently rubbed by Grayson Ding's thin lips, he was in a dilemma again. Elliott Jiang shouted in confusion: "Are you here?"
Caleb Ji bit the bullet and said, "Auntie, I'll go right away after packing my schoolbag."
