"I know everything." The little boy said with his eyes wide open and a smile, and he began to sing a nursery rhyme.
"Who killed the mockingbird? The mockingbird died on the island.
It was the wolf that killed the robin, and the sparrow flapped its wings and sang.
The wolf killed it with its poison, and it died with its eyes open."
The fishy sunlight from the island shone through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, casting an illusory shadow on the empty seat, with tiny floating objects rising and falling on the illusory shadow. The child's voice was clean and crisp, the melody was gentle and delicate, but the lyrics were more terrifying than the original Mother Goose nursery rhymes. In the strange sound of the nursery rhymes, everyone seemed to be nailed to the spot as if they were cast a spell. Max Fang stared at the empty space, clenched his right hand, and swallowed his saliva. Li Jason Si did not move, his eyes scanned everyone's faces, reached out from under the table, gently patted Max Fang's right hand, and signaled him not to act rashly.
