"What does 'gone...' mean?" Erick Qi was a little surprised and asked subconsciously. He also felt a sense of emptiness in his heart for no reason. Although this was a question, he could almost guess the answer without Longya's answer.
"That's what you think." Longya glanced at him and said, "Why? Do you think people like us don't have to worry about not being able to open our eyes again one day?"
Erick Qi didn't say anything.
He did subconsciously believe that people like Longya would never seem to worry about encountering anything life-threatening. Things like broken limbs were not a big problem for them, and they never took to heart the dangers and diseases that normal people feared. They had been in this world for thousands of years, and it seemed that there was no end to their lifespans, and they would continue to exist like this for thousands and thousands of years.
Longya sneered, trying to ridicule Erick Qi in a way that he could understand: "Do you think we are made of iron and steel and invulnerable to swords and guns?"
