When he was at a loss, he subconsciously looked at Longya, hoping to see something in his eyes. It would be best if he could be like he usually was, exploding like a firecracker and scolding the old locust tree so badly that he could no longer utter such frightening words.
But Longya didn't even turn around to look at him, as if the person being discussed didn't exist at all. Or maybe even Longya was not prepared to face him with any expression. The man who was usually fearless and didn't take anything seriously now had a gloomy face, staring at the old locust tree without blinking. If a gaze could carry a knife-like aura, then the old locust tree would have been riddled with holes.
"What do you know? How do you know? Why do you say that he did not enter the reincarnation intact? He clearly--" Longya frowned as if he remembered something, and then he did not continue the sentence.
"Look, you've noticed something's wrong now, haven't you?" The voice from the old locust tree continued to ring slowly, but the hoarse voice scraped against people's ears, and every word made people uncomfortable. "So, I'm not a fly, I'm here to help him."
Longya said coldly: "Why help him?"
