When coming down from the building where Li Zhengchang's house was, Longya did not rush to take Erick Qi straight to Xi City, but walked around downstairs.
Erick Qi was wondering what he was looking for, when he saw an old locust tree with thick branches in the corner of the south side of the building. However, the branches were split in half and tilted to both sides. At the roots half buried in the soil, there were some dark yellow paper talisman fragments left.
He lowered his head and took a closer look under the street light, only to find that the pattern on the paper talisman had been destroyed and could not be recognized in its original form.
Longya reached out and took off the remaining pieces of paper talisman, flipped them over in front of his eyes, and rubbed them twice with his thumb. He seemed to have figured out something, and then put away the paper talisman and said to Erick Qi: "Let's go to Qushan. There are still many things to do later!"
Erick Qi had been to Qushan before, but this was the first time he went up the mountain in such a dark night.
