"What's going on?" Nathan Xiao asked while lying on the bed, hearing the noise at the back door.
"Yingchun, come in and tell me." Furong brought Yingchun to Nathan Xiao's bed. Nathan Xiao asked through the bed curtain, "What happened?"
"Thirteenth Young Master! It's bad! I think something big will happen to the Xiao family tonight. Now several masters in the inner courtyard are saying that the eldest master was struck to death by lightning last night!" Yingchun said in panic.
"There is actually such a rumor." Nathan Xiao pondered.
Yingchun then told Nathan Xiao everything she had seen and heard. Nathan Xiao thought for a moment before saying, "According to what you said, a struggle for power and profit is about to break out in the inner courtyard, and it may even affect the servants. Don't go back tonight, just stay at my place."
"But I have to go back. What if the master finds out that I'm not here..." Yingchun said nervously.
