Nathan Xiao eventually fell into a brief coma. When he woke up, he was found in a relatively closed old house. The house had been cleaned up, with sundries piled in a corner and the windows nailed shut with wooden boards.
A fire was burning not far from him.
He tried to sit up, and the thick layers of blankets and down jacket slid off him.
The little girl who was watching over the fire said in surprise: "You finally woke up!"
"I..." Nathan Xiao realized that his voice was hoarse, and then he realized that he was not wearing any clothes.
