Shao Ling stared calmly at the sudden darkness before him, comparing it in his mind with the paintings he had experienced before. If the previous darknesses were dramatic, then everything before him was so real that it was a little scary.

The pale moonlight allows one to vaguely see the graves and tombstones in the cemetery. One does not know what kind of birds will occasionally make strange and unheard-of calls. Underfoot is a hillside road with some deep and some shallow steps. The shadows of the trees are swaying slowly, and crickets are chirping softly in the grass.

The nose is filled with the unique smell of the mountains, which comes from the grass, soil, rocks, and these ancient stone tablets.

"When I was working in Beijing," Li Xiaochun suddenly spoke, "I heard old Beijingers say that when someone 'died', they 'went to the crickets'. I didn't quite understand it at first, but now I understand that there are a lot of crickets in the cemetery."

Shao Ling did not move forward rashly, but stopped temporarily at a place a little further away from the tomb: "It's getting dark too quickly."
