The snow in City C was particularly heavy, and everything was covered in silver. The bare branches on both sides of the street were hung with red lanterns, creating a festive atmosphere of the approaching New Year.
Wu You was very generous in his work. He directly borrowed a 7-seater commercial vehicle from a friend and waited at the airport to pick people up.
The first to arrive were Nathan Ke and Owen Wei. They wrapped themselves up like bears, with down jackets, scarves, hats, and masks.
Nathan Ke peeked out from between the mask and the hat, his eyelashes were covered with moisture: "Oh my god, it's too cold here. I've put on my thickest clothes, but I almost peed myself when I came out of the airport lobby."
Wu You had short hair and was not wearing a hat. He looked much more resistant to cold than the two men. "Don't worry. Although it's cold here, few people die of freezing. Most people die from licking the iron railings on the roadside."
