A Volkswagen CC was driving on a gravel road without street lights, bumping and shaking, slowing down.
The driver was a thin-looking young man, and the companion sitting in the passenger seat was a man with a pierced earring on his left ear, and a man with deep law lines. He looked about the same age as the thin man driving.
The studded man was half-turning around, talking endlessly to the two girls sitting in the back seat:
