In December, a cold front from the Siberian plains swept across North China. The cold air came from the east, hit the Greater Khingan Range, and moved south along the towering ridges. The cold giant swept across the Inner Mongolia Plateau, crossed the Great Wall with snowflakes and ice crystals, stopped outside the largest city in northern China, and blew a breath into the human world.

In an instant, a swarm of ice and snow elves flew into the city, and overnight the entire city was covered with carved railings and jade.

Liam Le is not yet used to the winter in Wan City. Wan City is at the same latitude as Tokyo, but the winters are much colder.

He was wearing a thick sweater and gloves, holding a cup of coffee nervously, sweating in the heated air of the cafe, feeling a little uncomfortable.

"You can speak now," Liam Le whispered, "There's no one else here."
