The past was vivid and dazzling, but the verbal narration was a bit bland after all, so at first glance, it sounded like Orion was just describing an ordinary encounter to Zane Ling.
But the turning point brought about by this encounter was huge - Zane Ling could imagine that if Orion had not met Ye Selin in the old library that day, he might have become an excellent doctor as he had always dreamed of, and then when the virus came - he would save people and then die on Earth.
"Did you decide to be her student from that time on?" Zane Ling asked.
"Not yet," Orion replied, "I was just very impressed by her at the time, and we met a few more times afterwards... but it was two years later that I became her student."
"Although I haven't seen you and her get along, she must be a good mother." Orion brought the subject back to Zane Lingda.
