The dark night seemed like an endless thick ink heavily painted on the sky, and that kind of black was absolutely pure. And Yulan Township was swallowed up by this pure darkness, which was terribly depressing. Only when you hear one or two dogs barking occasionally can you feel that this is the human world.
Liu Hai, wrapped in a quilt, sat on the bed in the dormitory temporarily vacated by the township government, staring blankly at the dying fire. He didn't even notice that the cigarette in his hand had burned out, and only shuddered when it burned his hand did he throw the cigarette B*tt on the ground.
"Hey!" Liu Hai sighed, threw the blanket aside, got out of bed, put on his shoes, pushed the door open, and a gust of cold wind rushed in, making him shiver. Then he tightened his collar and walked out, then stood in the corner not far away and urinated.
"Hey, Lao Liu, where did you go?" A man pushed open the dormitory door and shouted when he saw that there was no one inside. Because it was too dark, he did not see Liu Hai standing in the corner.
"Here!" The sudden voice frightened the visitor, "Fcuk, you scared me to death."
