Byron and Felix didn't know anything about the seeds being eaten. They grilled the fish over the fire and roasted the chubby ice fish into dried fish in one go.
Looking at the fish fillet, which is browned on both sides and full of elasticity, it looks more and more like squid fillet.
Byron: "Are you familiar?"
Hulbert: "Huh?"
