Wendy's Return to the Village Chapter 36

Lily Lian talked to Xiaoying for a long time last night. Xiaoying's eyelids were fluttering, but she forced herself to stay awake. Lily Lian and the dog couldn't stand it anymore, and then both of them fell asleep in a daze.

The next morning, Lily Lian was sleeping soundly and was still chatting with Xiao Ying about her little troubles in her dream. In her daze, she heard a noise. She frowned and turned over. She thought the noise was just in her dream but it had not gone away. Lily Lian pulled out the pillow and covered her head with it in annoyance.

Xiaoying was also disturbed. She snorted twice and jumped off the bed.

The noise was getting louder and louder. It was not in her dream at all, but right beside her ears. Lily Lian had a headache because of the noise. She had slept too late last night and was suddenly woken up. She felt dizzy, heavy and exhausted. She just wanted to sink into the bed and didn't want to get up at all.

But the noise became clearer and clearer. Lily Lian could hear someone calling her name. She was suddenly startled and her brain started working, but she couldn't think of what could have happened at home.
