There aren't many movies released recently, and even fewer that make a splash. After much searching, I can only find one movie worth watching, "Midnight Demon". Although it sounds like a low-quality horror movie, it actually focuses on police and gangster suspense, and the fighting and car chases are all big scenes, which is quite sincere.
"Qin Ning's film?" Blake Lu said, "I had completely forgotten about it."
"Do you know the director?" Henry Gu asked curiously.
Blake Lu nodded: "High school classmates." Not only were they deskmates, they were also members of the school basketball team. After their youthful years of being close friends, one became a busy businessman, and the other a director in the entertainment industry. Their relationship gradually faded, and they seldom contacted each other, but those years were always beautiful. So in recent years, whenever Qin Ning's movies were released, Blake Lu would ask the Ministry of Human Resources to organize employees to book the theater as a commemoration of that passionate friendship.
"Then do you want to go and see it?" Henry Gu said, "I can treat you."
