Wen Tang danced a bar from The Rose.
It was an intense and desperate emotion. The heroine was despised, ridiculed and watched by the world. She struggled to dance in the upside-down and chaotic world. She was beautiful and enchanting but also desolate. In order to match the plot, Henry Gu and Deng Linxiu changed the design five times before deciding on the final product. There was a touch of bright red under the wide and dirty skirt. It only appeared briefly when she was spinning. It was a rose in the mud, pure and wanton.
Henry Gu still remembers how Deng Linxiu looked when she put it on. In the only rehearsal performance, the whole stage was boiling with excitement because of her. That was the power of art, which could make the audience deeply immersed in it, sad together, and crazy together.
There were no lights or dancers in the empty hall, only music from the phone. Wen Tang danced passionately, spinning barefoot, letting her white skirt and long hair fly freely in the air. She had a slender figure, like foam and an elf. Until the last note fell, she was still immersed in the story, her chest rising and falling violently.
Director Li handed her the coat and said, "Go back and have a rest for a while."
