That night, Ethan He went to the high-speed rail station with his father. It was September and the weather had turned cooler. Ethan He remembered that he had some spare clothes at home, so he did not go back to the rental house he and Chase Qin lived in. He just called Chase Qin before leaving.
Chase Qin had just taken on a few print ads after signing with an entertainment company. He had been busy filming these past two days and had asked for leave from school. He hadn't returned home yet. When he heard Ethan He say he was going back to Q City, he suddenly became nervous: "Why are you going back? What happened?"
"My mother is not feeling well, so my father came to see me." Ethan He did not want to make Chase Qin worry, so he only said this. When he made the call, he was already at the high-speed rail station, and his father was smoking not far away. Ethan He spoke very softly, not daring to let his father hear.
Chase Qin didn't like this "mother-in-law" who broke Ethan He's helmet and left a scar on his back. He was subconsciously afraid that this big boss would affect his relationship with Ethan He, so he couldn't help asking: "You're not feeling well? Are you lying to me?"
