Compared to the shock of the outside world, Evan was more concerned about the subsequent trip to the snowy mountains.
Climb over the snow-capped mountains and see if the world behind them is the same as it is in the game.
If things had developed differently, the main plot line that Evan knew would be useless.
Hopefully it will be the same.
If they are different, it doesn’t really matter.
