"From here, we travel eastwards into the Great Quicksand. The sand is flowing and gathers and disperses with the wind. People leave no trace and many get lost. It is so far away that no one knows where to go. Therefore, people who have come and gone in the past gather their remains to mark the way. There is a lack of water and grass, and there are many hot winds. When the wind blows, people and animals get lost and become sick. Sometimes you hear singing or wailing, and you don't know where you are. Many people die because of this. It is probably caused by ghosts."
