The man in the water mirror stared at him silently, and suddenly turned into a withered and thin face.
There was a dry smile on that face, and a tear fell into the muddy eyes.
The teardrops are crystal clear, like condensed pearls.
Charles Cui stretched out his hand in a daze, the pearl fell into his palm and poured into water. He was caged by this ubiquitous water vapor. He saw A-niang, Aye, and little himself.
Charles Cui is sober.
