There was a court police car parked in the parking lot of the People's Liberation Army Hospital. Liam Chu parked his car next to the police car. When he got out of the car, he saw a black business car parked across from him. The wipers of the car were swinging back and forth on the windshield, and the car was not turned off. A man's figure emerged from the black car window. What made him notice the car was that the man in the car leaned towards him, seemingly paying attention to him. Through a dark glass window, they looked at each other for a moment, and then the car backed out of the parking space and drove past him.
Liam Chu habitually memorized the license plate and then turned his attention to the police car next to him. The Haval had obviously been parked here for some time, and no one knew where he was, so the car waiting there couldn't be him. If it wasn't him, then it must be the police car.
Outside the ICU, Fu Yi sat on a bench with his eyes closed, and opened his eyes when he heard the familiar footsteps. He glanced at Liam Chu who walked in front of him, took off his glasses, rubbed his sleepy eyes, and said, "Liu Jiamin is out of danger."
Liam Chu looked inside through the glass window on the ward door and saw the woman lying on the bed. He did not recognize her at first. It had only been a few days, and the beautiful, proud and confident woman a few days ago was now lying lifeless on the bed, with no blood and energy, and mental decline. She had suddenly lost a lot of weight.
"When did it happen? Didn't you just record her statement yesterday?"
