"Boss, your cell phone is ringing."

Owen Travis was sitting in the passenger seat, wearing an Italian linen shirt. The sunlight turned the oatmeal color of the shirt into a cream color. His sleeves were rolled up in two folds, revealing a brown antique watch on his wrist.

Turning his head slightly, Owen Travis's face was reflected in the rearview mirror. His skin was fair, his slightly long hair was combed with hairspray, revealing a clean forehead and neat eyebrows, and he wore a pair of square sunglasses on his nose. Half of his face was hidden under the lenses, and his expression could not be seen.

The phone kept ringing, and the assistant Ethan Blake, who was driving, reminded again: "Boss, aren't you going to answer it?"

Owen Travis finally responded, raised his hand, and held the ringing and vibrating phone between his fingers. The caller ID showed "Ryan Foster", and Owen Travis's thumb rested on the screen, and after three or four seconds, he slid the call button.

Ethan Blake sighed silently and thought to himself: It’s a lot of effort.

As soon as the call was connected, Ryan Foster's voice came out from the phone. He was full of energy and sounded like a man in a good mood: "Hello? Yan Ting, it's me. Have you left yet?"

Owen Travis's back left the seat, and his other hand loosened from its empty grip and covered his thigh, stroking a wrinkle on his trousers. He glanced at the road sign outside the window and replied, "We're almost at the airport."

Ryan Foster said happily: "Okay, I'll send a car to pick you up at the airport. Do you want to go directly to the hotel or come to the crew first?"

Owen Travis asked: "Where are you?"

Ryan Foster replied: "I am on location today. If you are going to the crew, I will finish work early and wait for your visit."

Owen Travis said, "Don't delay work. I'm going to the hotel."

"Okay, go back to the hotel and rest for two hours, we'll meet in the evening." Ryan Foster calculated the time, "We have to eat hot pot in the evening, I'll reserve a table in advance."

After a few words, Owen Travis's straight back slowly relaxed, and he leaned back against the chair again, his tone also relaxed: "Okay, I'll wait for you to finish work, see you in the evening."

The car drove onto the road in front of the airport terminal, pulled over and turned off the engine.

After hanging up, Owen Travis unbuckled his seat belt and said, "I'll let the hotel know later and fill the refrigerator with black coffee, canned coffee will do."

Ethan Blake has been with Owen Travis for seven years and has been his assistant since the establishment of Owen Travis's "Paper Smoke and Cloud Studio". He knows all of Owen Travis's habits and said, "I've already notified you. Boss, you should take care to rest and don't stay up too late."

Owen Travis turned a deaf ear to the advice and wondered whether it was the off-season or the peak season for tourism and whether there were many tourists. He didn't like meeting many people in the hotel.

"Room 6206, a suite on the top floor of the hotel. There aren't many rooms on that floor, so don't worry." Ethan Blake took the initiative to answer, "I don't know when I'll be back, so I booked it for a week."

Owen Travis was not sure, and the length of the construction period would depend on whether the progress was smooth. He threw the house key on the center console and said, "Help me feed the cat and water the flowers. The house may be a bit messy."

Although he had been an assistant for many years, Ethan Blake's visits to Owen Travis's residence were quite limited, unless Owen Travis was away on business for a long time. He picked up the key and said, "Then I'll help you pack up."

"No need." Owen Travis was not being polite, "I like to be messy."

Ethan Blake nodded awkwardly and received an email on his mobile phone, which contained care instructions for dozens of plants and precautions for feeding cats.

"Did you get it?" Owen Travis put away his phone. "As usual, if you have something to say, send me an email instead of text messages. If it's urgent, call me."

Ethan Blake was very familiar with Owen Travis's habits, but he still couldn't help complaining in his heart. He called you in an emergency, and by the time you got through, you would probably be severely burned.

Owen Travis glanced at his watch and decided it was time to go. He gave his final instructions: "Choose a gift and send it to Team Leader Zhang, who is reviewing the film. The budget should not exceed 100,000 yuan. He knows what it means."

Ethan Blake assured, "I'll remember this, don't worry, Boss."

Owen Travis arrived at the airport on time. His suitcase had been checked in, so he was only carrying an H-brand black Phantom, with the bag filled with manuscripts he needed to read during the flight.

After going through security check, there was no time left to wait for the flight, and he was almost the last passenger to board the cabin.

Owen Travis likes the flying process. He can justifiably turn off his mobile phone in broad daylight without worrying about receiving sudden text messages or calls. The moment the screen goes black makes him feel at ease and relaxed.

The plane taxied and took off.

The city was condensed into the shape of an integrated circuit and then buried in the lingering clouds.

In the quiet first-class cabin, some people were reading, some were listening to music, and Owen Travis was concentrating on reading a manuscript, holding a pen between his fingers, making annotations and revisions from time to time.

Everyone was doing their own thing, and no one noticed that at this moment, there was a star sitting in this closed cabin.

The flight attendant was walking around and didn't even notice.

Sitting by the window, Liam Harris dozed off with his head tilted back. The script covering his face gradually tilted as his body shook, sliding down his right cheek and onto his shoulder.

Liam Harris's agent sat next to him. He had a crew cut, black-framed glasses, and spent a fortune on a set of Nikes. He reached over the partition, picked up the script, rolled it up into a tube, and tapped it on Liam Harris's shoulder.

Liam Harris opened his eyes with a start and straightened his neck.

He wore no sunglasses or masks, nor any makeup, revealing a clean face -- wheat-colored skin, prominent brow bones, a high nose bridge, and smooth and three-dimensional contours, which made him look very masculine. But his eyes spoiled the situation, with moist but not pointed tails and full bags under his eyes, which added a bit of innocent childishness to this face full of male hormones.

Not long ago, he finished filming a costume drama. His temples were torn by his wig and became allergic and red, like a small wound. If you didn't know, you would think he had a fight with someone outside.

Lucas Bennett said: "I joined the group in the afternoon. It's a pity you can still sleep."

Liam Harris rubbed his eyes: "I am joining the group, not going to prison, why can't I sleep?"

Lucas Bennett leaned over and held onto the partition, whispering, "Can this time be the same as before? This time you are the leading man, and if you go to jail you will be a serious criminal."

Liam Harris also turned around, holding onto the partition and facing Lucas Bennett, with a look of joy between his brows: "So I'm sleepy, I was so excited last night that I didn't sleep for most of the night."

At this time, the stewardess passed by and gently reminded: "Sir, please sit down."

In the entertainment industry, the first-tier stars are big names, the second-tier stars are also very successful; the third-tier stars have lower values   but are considered well-known; the fourth-tier stars are called low-key because they "can't become popular", and the fifth, sixth, and seventh-tier stars can still attract a group of fans even if they are at the back; the eighth-tier stars are better off buying their own fans to maintain their appearance.

People like this who would not recognize each other even if they met are collectively called eighteen-tier people.

As an 18th-tier minor actor, Liam Harris has appeared in four or five TV series, each of which he played the fifth male lead or a minor supporting role, and his role ended before he could become a familiar figure.

After one and a half years in the industry, he has no fans following him around, no team to take care of everything, and only Lucas Bennett, a rookie in the workplace with zero experience and no connections, serving as his agent and assistant.

However, Lucas Bennett was very dedicated and attentive, just like a parent accompanying a senior high school student. Most importantly, he was full of hope for Liam Harris, and firmly believed that Liam Harris would one day become a big star in the entertainment industry.

The wings brushed through the misty clouds. After three hours of flight, this unblessed morning star circled to the southwest region and slowly landed in the mountain city of Chongqing.

Passengers got off the plane one after another. Liam Harris stood up, his 1.88-meter height standing out from the crowd.

He unfolded a long windbreaker and put it on. Only he could wear it. If it was Lucas Bennett, he would have to mop the floor. He wore a simple T-shirt, a pair of chinos, and a pair of canvas shoes.

After getting off the plane, Liam Harris took advantage of his long legs and strode ahead, leaving Lucas Bennett far behind. He walked straight to the terminal, stopped, and stood in the bustling crowd.

Lucas Bennett caught up and said, "I just contacted the production manager, and he said a car is coming to pick me up. Please send me the license plate number right away."

This is the norm for 18th-tier stars. At Jiangbei Airport, one of the best airports in China, there were no fans chasing after them, no passersby asking for photos, no airport fashion photos, and even no crew to meet them in advance. They were left alone for a while.

Liam Harris couldn't wait and said, "Then go out and wait. The crew's car has a logo and is easy to find."

There were quite a few cars parked outside, and two people were walking along the white line, one in front and one behind. Based on past experience, it was most likely a nanny car. If the crew was particularly poor, they might even take a shabby van.

Liam Harris glanced at a row of cars and saw the one in front, which stopped immediately.

Lucas Bennett poked his head out from behind and followed Liam Harris's line of sight. After seeing clearly, he pushed his glasses up in disbelief: "... Damn it."

A 90% new Porsche Cayenne, which had just been cleaned and maintained, had a faint glow on its body lines and its windows were more illuminating than mirrors. In the driver's seat, the driver was wearing a shirt and tie, and looked handsome.

Liam Harris had been to many film crews, but this was the first time he had ever been treated this way. He said with a lack of confidence, "Is this a mistake?"

Lucas Bennett nodded his chin towards the windshield. There was a sign on the lower left corner that read: "First Night" crew, a1.

To facilitate coordination, each car of the crew will be numbered, and A1 is the highest grade. The black and white words cannot be wrong, Liam Harris gained a little more confidence, and said with a chuckle: "Did I become famous during those three hours on the plane?"

Lucas Bennett always said nice things, saying, "If you are not famous, you can't sit down? You are not a supporting actor."

Liam Harris was bright as soon as he got some sunshine. He nodded: "Yes, I am the leading actor this time, the soul of the whole play, and the soul should have the status of a soul."

Lucas Bennett walked forward with great tact and opened the car door. The car was covered with brand new carpets, the leather interior was exquisite and beautiful, and each seat was placed with a Shu embroidered cushion. When you get closer, you can smell a faint fragrance.

Liam Harris threw off his windbreaker handsomely, stepped into the car, and sat down on the sofa in one go.

The driver was startled and half turned around, looking at Liam Harris and Lucas Bennett who suddenly appeared in surprise for four or five seconds.

Liam Harris stretched out his hand, snapped his fingers in the air, and said, "Master, am I stunning you?"

The driver came to his senses and greeted him hesitantly: "Are you...going to the crew?"

"Yes, we just got off the plane." Lucas Bennett said, "Don't just stand there, help me load the luggage."

The driver got out of the car to help, and while lifting the boxes he looked at them, and couldn't help but confirm again: "Are you going to the set of "First Night"?"

"How could it be wrong?" Lucas Bennett said, "The stage manager is not very reliable. You have already arrived, but they didn't send the license plate number earlier. Fortunately, this car is conspicuous."

Liam Harris felt thirsty, so he unscrewed the Perrier water prepared in the car and handed Lucas Bennett a can of Coke. He took a sip and asked, "Master, how long will it take to get to the crew?"

The driver replied: "About...an hour and a half."

Liam Harris frowned, feeling that the driver was very slow and hesitant in every sentence. He had two drivers, one young and one old, and they always adhered to three principles: answer accurately, act quickly, and drive steadily.

It was getting late, so he said, "Okay, let's go."

The driver did not move, but looked towards the terminal, and finally asked in confusion: "Director Henry Adams went in to pick you up, didn't you see him?"

Outside the airport reception area, a well-dressed middle-aged man had been waiting for a long time. His surname was Liu and he was the production director of the "First Night" crew.

The VIP channel was becoming increasingly deserted. Owen Travis was the last person to board the plane before takeoff and almost the last person to leave the cabin after landing. He knew someone was waiting for him, but the further he walked, the slower his pace became.

Director Henry Adams spotted Owen Travis's figure and immediately waved his hand, shouting enthusiastically: "Editor Qu, it's been a while since we last met!"

When Owen Travis heard the voice, he tightened his grip on the suitcase. When Kuankuan came closer, he shook the hand that the other party extended and said, "Long time no see. I didn't expect you to come to pick me up at the airport."

"No way." Director Henry Adams said with a smile, "The car is outside. I'll take you to the hotel to rest first."
