As time goes by and the end of the service is getting closer, the soldiers' physical strength and endurance are increasing, and their training is constantly intensified.
From carrying 20 kilograms and running 5 kilometers cross-country, to carrying 30 kilograms, 35 kilograms and even 40 kilograms, some of them were even approaching the critical limit, and the distance between them was widened.
The dozens of most elite people, even with 40 kilograms of wood and stones on their backs, still walked briskly. They couldn't catch up with the horses as before, but they could still grit their teeth and follow behind them, never being left behind. As they approached the finish line, they burst out and closed the distance by another hundred meters.
The second echelon of soldiers was slower, but they were the largest in number. Under the leadership of the veteran soldiers, they found the pace that suited them best. The team of more than 300 people formed an array spontaneously, with an amazing momentum.
The dozens of people who fell behind knew their own shortcomings and stopped competing for the lead. Instead, they chose to help each other and move forward at their own pace. Even though they always fell behind, their physical strength and endurance were greatly improved, and they gradually had the possibility of catching up with the second echelon.
