September, the second year of Zhengde
During the late autumn season, the grains, wheat and sorghum in Jizhou's grain storages were all growing well.
All the corn planted in April, except for a few, have matured into plants.
Since the day the seedlings sprouted, Niu Zhubu has been walking in the fields all day, holding a paper book and charcoal sticks, recording everything in detail without missing a single detail.
"The time intervals between sowing, germination, growth, and fruiting of foreign crops, as well as the changes during this period, are all recorded in the book."
