Teacher Wu walked quickly to the last row of the classroom. She picked up Lacey, put her palm on Lacey’s forehead, and sighed, “I really have a fever.”
“I’m so dizzy…” Lacey described.
Teacher Wu took a breath and said loudly, “Dalton, Tang Leqin, you two maintain class discipline. I took Lacey to the school infirmary. Is anyone else in the class having a fever? Is anyone unwell?”
The class was silent, and no one responded.
Facts have proved that only Lacey has a fever.
