The sunlight shone through the gaps between the blue curtains, onto the ball lying in front of the bed. It was still early, and the entire hospital was quiet.
After a while, the furry head moved, and Claire raised his head in a daze. There were some dark circles under his eyes. The air conditioner and heater in the ward were turned on high. After sleeping like this all night, Claire did not catch a cold, but his limbs were a little stiff.
She stood up and moved around, but Jade was still unconscious. His delicate profile looked even more delicate in the sunlight, and he finally seemed to be gaining some popularity.
Claire asked for leave for himself and Jade, then went out to buy some breakfast.
Before I walked out of the ward, I heard a weak voice behind me: "Claire, where are you going?"
