Ryan played outside all day, while Second Mistress also had her own entertainment at home, which was obviously much quieter and more monotonous. The fourth c0ncubine wore a white fox fur shawl over her cheongsam. The second grandmother was still wearing an old-fashioned rose-colored cheongsam, with a pair of golden phoenixes on her head. Fan Jinling tied her curly hair into a braid, wore a dress, and had a set of pink pearl jewelry on her neck and ears. Emily only wore a long-sleeved silk gown, which was enough to show her quiet beauty. It was really a brocade, pearl hairpin, and a musk fragrance, each with its own charm. In this crowd of warm and beautiful people, Chachar sat next to Second Madam with an expressionless face, looking at her sideways, as if begging for something. Second Madam just drew cards and ignored her.

Ryan was always relaxed and at ease, and neither adults nor children were afraid of him. When they saw him coming back, they all called him brother and brother-in-law and greeted him, playing with the things in their hands without moving. Only the second grandmother looked at Ryan coldly and said nothing. Chachaer just stared at the second grandmother and ignored his brother.

Ryan said with a smile: "Why is it so lively today? Is it the New Year?"
