At the end of July, the admission letter came.
The cover was bright red, with a word "He" on the left and Ethan Ning's name written neatly on the right. Further down was the principal's signature. The two words "Ethan Ning" were written with such vigor and strength that he couldn't help but feel happy and confused at the same time.
After receiving the notice, Ethan Ning went back to school. Grace Ren and a group of other students who were still taking extra classes stood in the corridor to greet him. The director of the Academic Affairs Office at the back, holding a newspaper in his hand, knocked on the heads of the younger students and scolded them for not learning from Ethan Ning and just playing all day.
A junior student ran from the first floor to the open air, pointed at the sky and shouted: "Hey! There are fighter jets again! They are flying so low!"
Several other boys came out from behind him and looked in the direction of his finger. "Wow---"
