The cold wind of early autumn made people shiver all over. Collin had just stood firm when a translucent prompt panel was projected in front of his eyes by the bracelet.

The pajamas he was wearing when he was brought into the game had been changed into jeans and a T-shirt at some point. Students were constantly walking around with books in their arms, chatting and laughing. They were lively and vivid, but they just ignored Collin who was in the middle of the road.

Collin quickly took in the surroundings and vaguely felt that he was "thrown" into a university campus.

He could understand the two non-triggered ones, but what about the non-mandatory 1v1? Did it mean that the other player was not his enemy but his teammate?

"Dylan, are you there?" Collin shook his bracelet slightly, "I need some explanations of terms."

The translucent panel twisted a few times, and finally turned into circles of ripples and spread out. Dylan floated in the air like a projection, no longer solid in the white room.

"Instruct the AI not to interfere too much with the host's game process," Dylan stood in the air with his arms folded leisurely, "All clues have been given, please explore on your own."

The other party was still obsessed with the unpleasant name of "host". Collin's brows jumped, but he finally acquiesced to Dylan's little "bad taste".

Now is not the time to be picky.

Seeing that Collin did not respond, Dylan curled his lips in boredom: "The protection will be lifted in ten seconds. Please prepare yourself, host."

Ten seconds was neither long nor short. Ignoring Dylan who had returned to the bracelet, Collin straightened his clothes. After confirming that the dagger was still in its original position, he adjusted his expression and waited quietly for the moment when the protection was lifted.

"Hey, Collin!"

The noise around him became more and more real. A warm hand patted his right shoulder. Collin looked back and saw a tall and strong boy looking at him in confusion: "We're almost late, why are you standing here alone?"

"This is Lao Feng's ideological and political education class. If he catches you, you'll be in trouble."

The other person had a bright smile and clear eyes. Collin noticed that on the book in the boy's hand were written three big characters "Jason Chen" in a flamboyant style. He thought that this should be the other person's name.

There was no bracelet, the attitude was intimate and he called out my name, so the other person should be a game character rather than another player.

Knowing what was going on, Collin said slowly, "I felt a little dizzy just now."

Although I don't know what identity the system has given him, pretending to be sick is always a panacea. Coupled with his seemingly thin appearance, this excuse shouldn't cause any big problems.

"Didn't you sleep well last night?" As expected, after hearing Collin's answer, Jason didn't ask any more questions. "With your small body, you will collapse sooner or later if you keep reading day and night."

It seems that "I" am also a top student? Collin moved his fingers uncomfortably. Unfortunately, he didn't even have a piece of paper with him.

It was really strange to stand still in the middle of the road. Collin lifted his feet and followed Jason towards the classroom. All his perceptions were so real. If it weren't for the cold bracelet on his wrist, he would have thought he had returned to reality.

"What's wrong with you lately?" Jason bumped into Collin's shoulder and teased him in a gossipy tone, "You seem absent-minded all day long. Did you secretly find a girlfriend?"

I also want to know what I did, Collin complained in his heart, then shook his head and replied: "No, I just didn't rest well."

Teaching Building No. 2 was old and had no elevator. Collin and his companions walked for a long time before reaching the Ideological and Political Theory classroom on the sixth floor. The tiered classroom was very large and was packed with students. Even in autumn, it felt stuffy.

Because they arrived late, Collin and Jason could only sit in the "good seat" in the third row in the middle. The middle-aged professor with half black and half white hair on the stage looked up at the two of them, then lowered his head to record something.

"Look, Old Feng is looking for you again," Jason said in a low voice, "It's just an elective course, and you're not a student of the Faculty of Philosophy. Why is he paying so much attention to you?"

If Lao Feng hadn't remembered Collin's face because he sat with him every week, why would he have come to this class with hundreds of people on time?

"Who knows," Collin said perfunctorily, "I was in a hurry to go out and forgot to bring my book. Can you lend me yours first?"

For some reason, even though Jason said so, Collin still had an instinctive aversion to Teacher Feng on the podium.

"Take it, take it," Jason generously pushed the book to Collin, "I won't be asked questions if I'm not attending the class anyway, so it doesn't matter whether you have the book or not."

Collin was a serious sophomore student before he was dragged into the game by the system. He was naturally intelligent and had a photographic memory, so it was not difficult for him to deal with classroom questions at the last minute.

Normally, due to family reasons, he had to maintain his "unambitious, low-flying" personality. Now that he has entered this game, it has given him "freedom" in another sense.

Teacher Feng's voice is rigid and his lectures are just rote reading from a textbook. Soon the students in the classroom became listless and began to doze off like chicks pecking at rice.

Collin drew wavy lines on the book with a pen from time to time. Before confirming the handwriting, he would not do anything stupid that would expose his identity.

"Have you heard? Danning from the sports school is missing. He is in the bathroom where someone died before."

"Danning? The hunk in the sports college? Isn't he a boy? Why did he go to the girls' restroom for no reason?"

Hearing the whispers of two girls behind him, Collin paused with his pen and silently pricked up his ears.

"Who knows? Anyway, his phone fell in the bathroom," the first girl whispered, "I heard that he lost the city competition a few days ago. The senior student before him also committed suicide because of too much pressure from studying. Do you think Dan Ning will not..."

"Don't talk nonsense," another girl quickly stopped her companion from talking, "Those boys in the sports college usually like to play jokes to attract attention. This time, maybe this is another prank of theirs."

"Sneaking into the girls' restroom is a violation of the school's taboo. I think they will suffer this time."

"But I'm still worried..." The first girl muttered, "They say that bathroom is haunted, do you think Dan Ning will be okay?"

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, so you're worried about Tannin. I'm so sorry I'm still here to help you analyze it."

Another girl laughed and scolded, but she didn't control the volume well, which attracted an unhappy glance from Teacher Feng. Collin lowered her head to read, trying hard to pretend to be a good student.

There was no sound behind him for a full five minutes. When the two girls spoke again, they were all talking about girls' little thoughts. Collin had no intention of prying into other people's feelings, so he no longer paid attention to the two people behind him.

The missing Tannin, the suicidal senior schoolmate, and the haunted bathroom.

Collin turned the Zhongxing pen he borrowed from Jason in his hand. Could it be that the system assigned him a reasoning copy?

----Thanks to more than ten years of Chinese-style education, Collin had never considered the possibility of a supernatural copy.

An hour and a half passed quickly. Teacher Feng did not call Collin's name or ask him any questions. During the ten-minute break, Collin took the opportunity to observe the hundreds of people in the classroom, but still did not find the target person who was suspected to be a player.

"Survive", judging from Dylan's series of descriptions, participating in the game obviously involves a certain risk of death.

The main quest and the conditions for leaving have not been refreshed yet, which means that he is still in a disadvantageous situation.

Fortunately, he is one of the central figures in this game. Collin closed the book. With this identity, things will always come to him one after another.

After being sweaty in the classroom, Collin said something to Jason and prepared to go to the bathroom to wash his face. But as soon as he stood up, Teacher Feng, who had packed his briefcase, called him.

"Collin, come here."

Jason winked and gave him a "I wish you all the best" expression. Collin put down his pen and walked quickly to the podium: "Teacher Feng."

"Why don't you bring your books?" The man called Teacher Feng raised his eyebrows. "Come back to my office later."

After hearing this, Collin realized that Jason's description was not exaggerated at all. Estimating his own personality in the game, Collin responded with a nod, and then asked in a low voice: "Um... I want to go to the bathroom, teacher, can you wait for me?"

"Five minutes," Teacher Feng waved his hand impatiently, "Don't make me wait any longer."

Collin glanced at the other person's face, then quickly ran to the men's restroom in the middle of the corridor on the sixth floor. He had passed by here when he went upstairs before, and he also memorized the location of the bathroom.

The decoration of Building No. 2 was very shabby, so the men's restroom was empty and the sound of dripping water could be heard. A cool breeze blew on his face. After making sure that there was no one around, Collin clicked on the silver ring on his wrist.

"Dylan, are the bracelets between players visible?"

By testing Jason, Collin can confirm that the bracelet is invisible in the eyes of the game character. So is his bracelet still invisible in the eyes of other players?

[It can be seen that] a line of text quickly flashed on the bracelet, [The one wearing the bracelet is a player.]

That would completely rule out the suspicion of Jason and Teacher Feng. Collin walked to the sink and turned on the faucet. The cool tap water splashed on his face, dispelling some of the anxiety in his heart.

It was still his own face, but it looked a little pale. Collin looked up at the mirror. He thought that Teacher Feng had some dirty thoughts, but he didn't expect that the other party was mostly disgusted with him.

What kind of grudges could there be between a teacher and a student? Collin pondered and looked at himself in the mirror, but suddenly found another face reflected on the water-stained mirror.

It was a man's face, and he looked miserable and pale. Collin subconsciously drew his knife and turned around, but the moment he turned around, he was shocked to find that there was no one behind him.

A strong but bloodstained arm stretched out from the mirror and grabbed Collin's neck with lightning speed. The cold ring was pressed behind Collin's ear. He stabbed with his backhand, and the other party's warm blood splashed on his face with a "puff".

But the man still didn't let go. An irresistible suction came from behind. Collin's eyes went dark and he was involuntarily sucked into the mirror.

[Ding, Dong!] The system sound hissed and rang out----

[Congratulations, the main quest has been triggered.]
