"boom!"

An unknown force threw Collin to the ground, dust flew everywhere. He covered his mouth and nose and coughed a few times, only to feel a burning pain in his neck.

Without bothering to pay attention to the flashing bracelet, Collin opened his eyes wide and looked at the mirror in front of him. Except for the dust and the wall with missing tiles, this place was exactly the same as the bathroom he had just stayed in.

The man in the mirror ran out without looking back, leaving Collin with only a sturdy back. Blood kept flowing out from the gaps between his fingers as he pressed on the wound, dripping all over the floor.

Looking at the bracelet on the other person's left wrist, Collin immediately realized that this was another player in the game.

What is non-compulsory 1v1? Isn't this way of greeting too "friendly"?

The opponent ran away, and the smell of decay spread in the air. Collin propped himself up and tentatively touched the exceptionally bright "one-way mirror", but to his disappointment, his hand could not pass through the lens like the man before.

The sticky smell of rust on his face made Collin feel sick. He turned on the faucet in front of him and prepared to wash himself and the dagger in his hand thoroughly.

A stream of bright red water gushed out, and a pungent smell of blood rose with it. Collin turned the switch back calmly, and smeared the blood on his sleeve without any image.

Okay, now he can confirm that this is a supernatural mirror space.

The faucet rotates left, not right, and the items on both sides correspond one to one. Collin took a deep breath and silently clicked on the bracelet with a flashing red light.

[Main mission: Find out the truth about the mirror world.]

Conditions for leaving: in the real world after 24 hours (countdown 21:55:32)]

The two newly triggered messages made Collin's thinking much clearer. Judging from the description of the conditions for leaving the game, if he wanted to leave the game safely, he had to return to the "real world" before the countdown ended.

And by calculating the remaining time, the countdown should start from the first second he enters the game.

"You look a bit embarrassed." The light green data gathered quickly and then condensed into the appearance of Dylan in the air. "You stumbled at the beginning. How does it feel?"

"It was unintentional, and it's not unfair that I fell." After getting used to the way Dylan appeared, Collin didn't even give him an extra glance. He bent down to pick up the campus card that fell on the ground, and as expected, he saw Hunter Shan 's name on it.

The sports school student disappeared mysteriously. It seemed that he was thrown into this hellhole by the system right at the beginning.

Those in danger can directly trigger the main plot to plot against their opponents, while those in safety have to deal with everything passively and ignorantly. From this point of view, Collin really can't tell who has better luck between him and Hunter Shan.

"Looking at each other in front of the mirror could change the world?" Collin muttered to himself, unconsciously turning the broken faucet in his hand, "Or is it only me and Dan Ning who can trigger this condition?"

The blood stained the entire washbasin as it was opened and closed. Dylan floated behind Collin without saying a word, his eyes more colorful than the flowing blood.

With an impatient look on his face, Mr. Feng walked into the bathroom carrying his briefcase. He didn't say a word, but just pushed open all the cubicle doors one by one and slammed them shut, giving people a feeling of oppression and suffocation.

"You little brat, you dare to run away."

After searching in vain, Teacher Feng kicked the baffle hard, muttering curse words and looking nothing like a respected university professor.

There were still traces of Tannin's blood on the ground. Teacher Feng kept his nose up and never thought of lowering his head until he kicked the door. Then he discovered the bloodstain on the sole of his shoe.

Reflexively looking back at the mirror, Teacher Feng cursed under his breath and walked out without caring about anything, not even bothering to wipe off the bloody footprints on the baffle.

The boy with headphones on walked in while playing games and happened to be bumped into by Teacher Feng who was in a hurry. Collin stood behind the mirror and carefully observed everything outside, secretly hoping that the two of them would discover him.

But just as Collin speculated, the game character couldn't see him trapped in the mirror world at all. After solving the physiological problem, the boy washed his hands in a muddle, stared at his phone and walked out.

The boy's mind was completely focused on the phone, and the circular bloodstain on the ground didn't attract his attention at all. Collin sighed, turned to look at Dylan and said: "If I want to return to reality, I have to drag Dan Ning in, right?"

In this isolated and helpless situation, only Dylan could communicate with him. Unconsciously, Collin's attitude towards Dylan became less confrontational.

"That's right," Dylan sat on the sink, raising his hand to touch the bloodshot and purple scar on Collin's neck, "Have you softened your heart? I see he didn't hesitate to attack you."

How does it feel to be touched by a set of data? Collin subconsciously dodged backwards, but his neck was still cold when he was touched.

"Dan Ning is very strong," Collin sorted out the known information. His fighting skills were not bad. Even if he was attacked by someone, he shouldn't have lost so easily. "But he was still injured..."

"What in this world is chasing him?"

Collin walked around Dylan and looked out through the window of the corridor. The orange-red sunset was hanging obliquely in the sky. It was emitting heat diligently just like the sun in reality, rendering this abandoned campus peaceful.

There are no monsters, no evil spirits, and not even the disturbing heat of the real world. If it weren't for the blood still flowing from the faucet, no one would notice that something was wrong with this world.

"Want to go out for a walk?" Collin put the dagger under the blood water to rinse it, and he raised his cat eyes to look at Dylan, "I don't want to stay in an abandoned men's restroom all the time."

Seeing Collin's calmness beyond ordinary people, Dylan slowly smiled: "Of course, I am your exclusive AI."

"I'm going to the bathroom first," Collin pointed to the door, "Refuse to follow me, you can go explore the way first."

Dylan sneered and walked towards the door. Collin pushed open a relatively clean compartment and then closed the door silently.

The moment he was completely out of Dylan's sight, Collin held onto the baffle at hand and retched silently. The blood, dust, and the bruises on his neck made him feel extremely disgusted and terrified.

No matter how calm Collin appeared, he was just an adult. There were constant open and covert struggles within the Bai family, but in the past 19 years, he had never truly felt the threat of death.

Especially that strange AI, Collin could be sure that Dylan had no ill will towards him for the time being, but the other party's mood was unpredictable, and the eyes looking at him always seemed to be evaluating.

Collin didn't know what Dylan was planning, but he knew clearly that he couldn't show weakness in front of him.

If he fails to suppress Dylan, he will have to face a terrible situation of internal and external troubles.

I can't die yet, Collin rolled up his sleeves to cover the blood, at least I can't die here.

The toilet was old, but the water tank looked still usable. In order to avoid being disgusted by the blood, Collin closed his eyes, forced back the moisture in his eyes, turned around and pushed open the door of the cubicle.

Dylan was waiting not far away in the corridor. When he saw Collin coming out, he just leaned against the wall and complained, "You're so slow."

"Let's go." Collin nodded to Dylan. He was in his normal state and didn't seem to be feeling unwell at all. "Let's go to the library first. There should be the information we need there."

"Don't you want to find Dan Ning?" Dylan raised his eyebrows. "There is more than one mirror in this school."

Collin put away the dagger and walked down the stairs: "It's useless to look for him now. Everyone knows that the mirror is a passage. He will definitely not stand in front of the mirror stupidly and wait for me to pull him."

"Knowledge is power. The main task is to find out the truth. Let's go to the library first to see if there is any information about the school history."

"You are very calm, even calmer than three minutes ago," Dylan said playfully, "Did something unexpected happen in the cubicle that I'm not aware of?"

"Does seeing a female ghost lying on the ceiling count?" Collin said nonsense in a serious tone. "Thanks to her, I have become even calmer."

It was an obvious lie, but Dylan surprisingly did not pursue it. He tilted his head and said, "Although I don't know how you scared her away, I think you can choose to bleed them next time you see them."

"I'll think about it," Collin replied casually, "but isn't it a foul for you to remind me like this?"

However, this time Collin did not wait for Dylan's answer. The stairs under his feet had already reached the first floor. A girl in black sportswear sat at the stairs with her back to Collin, silently blocking his way.

Dylan, who had just been with him, disappeared in the blink of an eye. Collin stopped and held his breath vigilantly.

Even if you haven't eaten pork, you have seen pigs run. There are many horror games where the pig turns around to kill. If he wants to live well, he can't go and flirt with the pigs.

But before Collin could take action, the girl turned around and jumped up: "Who's there?"

She raised her eyebrows, trying to appear fierce, but her pale lips and hoarse voice betrayed the fact that she was weak.

It was because of the girl's movement that Collin could see clearly the shadow under the other person's feet. He slightly bent his tense back and gave the other person a natural and harmless smile, imitating the look of Dylan in his mind.

"My name is Collin, what's yours?"

I have to say that Collin's smile was a complete failure. He had the appearance of a delicate young master, and now pretending to be gentle only made people feel awkward.

But fortunately, he has a pair of clean and innocent cat eyes. The girl hesitated for a moment, but still approached Collin and stretched out her hand: "Collin? I seem to have heard of you... I'm Mia Xu, why did you come to the ghost school?"

"Ghost school?" Collin repeated hesitantly, "Do you know where this is?"

"Of course," Mia nodded, then stared at Collin in surprise, "Aren't you here to study?"
