We looked at some doctoral research topics, such as some algorithms for broadband and high-frequency radio. Experts in the same field think that they are very excellent and are world-class topics. The doctors are still very poor, wearing a pair of worn-out slippers and poor clothes, just like our student days decades ago. The high intelligence of Indians and the high level of poverty in the country make us deeply proud of our motherland: under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, after 50 years of hard work in power, a China that was scattered like a mess of poverty, backwardness and ignorance has been built into a unified country. , a united, collaborative and effective country. I believe that with this foundation, economic development will be faster. In another 10 years, the people's living standards and education levels will be greatly improved, and the motherland will become more beautiful and lovely. As a result, we are filled with more love for our motherland.
Famous companies around the world are looking for talents in India. Due to India's relative poverty and poor environment, a large number of talents have drained out. But the person in charge of their government said that China also has tens of millions of overseas Chinese, but these overseas Chinese are very patriotic and they are what he envies. Huawei has also decided to attract some talents from India to work in China. The development speed of my country's electronic information talent education is relatively behind the speed of industrial development. In the case of overall surplus in the Chinese market, there is only a shortage of electronic information talents. This is an opportunity for talent cultivation. I hope that our country’s education can catch up. In order to make up for the shortage of talents and complement each other's advantages, we decided to establish a joint laboratory at IIT universities to provide funding for scientific research projects, implement scholarships and teaching grants, and help them cultivate talents, and also absorb some of them to work in China. So that a branch can be established in India in the future.
We flew to Bangalore in the south and visited some famous software companies. Among them, Company W has 5,000 researchers engaged in IT research alone, with a software output value of US$500 million and an annual profit increase of 68%. Because they are direct exporters of software components, their standards are very strict and they are long-term suppliers to many well-known international companies. Software cannot be sold if it is not standardized. Their software engineering is rated SEI Level 4 and they are striving to reach Level 5 next year. There are only 2 to 3 Level 5 companies and more than a dozen Level 4 companies in the world. The two companies we visited are both Level 4, which is enough to illustrate the software power of India. I asked my fellow experts what level our Huawei is? They said we had no rating or evaluation. I asked: Can we invite an Indian company to serve as a consultant and strive to reach SEI level 1 in 1999?
These joint laboratories undertake software research for many well-known companies around the world, and the product hardware provided by each company is very large-scale. We visited a fault-tolerant machine laboratory, with dozens of machine frames running roaringly on the Internet, and a dark hall. In comparison, the joint laboratory of American companies in China is only symbolic and childlike.
Huawei is establishing various process management and gradually realizing process management automation. We are studying advanced foreign technology management on a large scale and gradually applying it to our own practice. When the new IT is built in 3 to 5 years, and when the employees who have experienced 3 to 5 years of management training are familiar with international standard management, the core competitiveness of the enterprise will be greatly strengthened, the per capita profit will be greatly enhanced, and the efficiency will also be greatly enhanced. .
