She turned her face away and forced herself not to look at the eating shark, otherwise she always felt that the next bite of the big mouth would be her. After digging up the supplies in front of her, Riley quickly swam towards the float. Passing by a patch of kelp, she did not let it go. She swung up the machete and started harvesting. She rolled up all the cut kelp and stuffed it into her backpack.
After swimming hard back to the rocky area, the shark finally gave up surrounding Riley and turned to swim towards the deep sea.
Without the sharks' watchful eyes, Riley could finally pick up some seafood with confidence. There were more shellfish in the rocky area, many of which were attached to the rocks. Some of them were very tightly attached, so she pried them off with the tip of the machete.
Only after filling up his backpack did he reluctantly swim towards the float board.
Before getting on the boat, she looked around to make sure there were no strangers before she stepped onto the float. She lay down on the wet space on the float to rest. This trip was full of fear and she was exhausted both physically and mentally.
