Jasper took a short rest and quickly replaced Riley, who was doing the fancy barnacle prying. It was tiring enough for him to do it himself, and watching her do it was even more tiring. On top of that, he had to be careful of flying barnacles at all times.

Riley had just found his rhythm when he was about to be laid off. He thought that if two people started working together, they could finish the work faster. However, Jasper suggested that there should be someone on the boat to keep watch, otherwise it would be very dangerous if both of them fell off. So he went ashore, moved a chair and sat on the bow to supervise.

This big sea turtle was also very obedient. Jasper scratched and pried it so hard, but it didn't move at all. Riley even saw a piece of the hard membrane on the surface of the turtle shell was removed, but it still didn't move.

When Riley went upstairs to make lunch, it didn't react. When Jasper jumped off its back and wanted to go upstairs to eat, it repeated its old trick and put its big head on the floating board at the bow, causing the entire boat to tilt again.

If Riley hadn't reacted quickly, the iron pot on the stove would have almost flown out in the kitchen. She had to do a horse stance to steady herself. The iron pot was too hot, so she didn't dare to press it. She used a wooden spatula to hold the pot and asked Jasper loudly what was wrong.
