The busy barnacle cleaners worked until sunset and finally cleaned the sea turtle's back. Riley had been squatting beside the float and felt a little dizzy when she stood up. It was Jasper who pulled her to steady herself.

The two were just about to send the big turtle off properly, but unexpectedly the turtle suddenly turned 180 degrees, with its belly facing up and its back facing down.

"Brother Turtle, let's talk about it. It's not that we don't want to clear it for you, but it's getting late and your belly is so delicate that we can't see it. If we hurt you, you won't be able to recover, right? Please come back early tomorrow." Riley smiled obsequiously, fearing that the other party would come to force him if they disagreed.

But the turtle, which had seemed very clever before, did not react at all. It just stared at her. She whispered to Jasper, wondering if the sunlight had taken away its intelligence. Why did it look so stupid?

"It's getting dark, and we can't see the barnacles clearly. Can you come tomorrow morning and we can continue?" Jasper said it simply and clearly, and the big turtle seemed to understand it and turned over and swam away.
