Jasper was in the dark.
This is a familiar place. He was born here and has no idea how long he has been here. He cannot feel the passage of time or any sense of touch here. He is just a consciousness.
He seemed like a wanderer floating in the deep sea. In this extremely lonely place, he even forgot who he was.
Maybe he was nobody.
Jasper suddenly opened his eyes, staring straight at the ceiling, panting heavily, and then covered his chest. His heart was beating again, and he quickly regained control of his body. The shackles in his left eye gradually faded and disappeared.
