Money can block the eyes and ears, and Roxanne seemed to have never appeared. Taber lost a group of snake people, and he was confining Youli like a flock of sheep, revealing his intentions in every way. He wanted Griffin to return the snake people and leave with his tail between his legs. But Youli has been playing deaf and dumb. Gar strolled around the streets every day with his cubs, almost treating this trip as a trip. But this will never last, because they all smelled Taber's gradually accumulated anger in the increasingly tense atmosphere.
"I think we should not have conflicts with Youli in the city again." The meeting table at Stock was full of people, and someone spoke first, "The damage will spread to the entire city, and repairs will require new expenses, and we cannot get this money from Youli, but can only take it from the taxes of everyone present."
"Then fight until that B@st@ard pays." Fitch said at the conference table, "Why should we be afraid of him? He only has a hundred people, and we have the army. Violet should not retreat. Your fear of him makes him more rampant. Look at him now. He has entered the house, and we are still holding a meeting here? Damn negotiations, why should I be on an equal footing with a B@st@ard?"
"Only Tabor can defeat the B@st@ard you mentioned." The first man to speak was blond and blue-eyed. His name was Misen, Tabor's brain trust. He crossed his fingers and said to Fitch, "A tough attitude will only intensify the conflict, which is very disadvantageous to us. The Griffin is a wanted criminal with a high bounty, and so far only we Stoke are taking action, and everyone is just watching. I don't think they will help at a critical moment, including the Temple. Unless we can pinpoint the Griffin's weak spot and kill him with one blow, we should stop talking and prepare for negotiations."
"Let Stock bow down to a B@st@ard," Fitch glanced at Taber, who was sitting at the top of the seat, "It's better for him to die."
