Jason and Sean traveled on the train for a day and a night before arriving at Changsha Railway Station the next morning. After that, they changed trains and headed to Xiangxi, and arrived at their destination, Jishou City, at noon that day.

Jishou City is the capital of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, located in the western part of Hunan Province, on the eastern foot of Wuling Mountains. It is a small city with a total area of 1,062 square kilometers and a population of 294,300. As soon as I got off the train, I heard the heavily accented Southwestern Mandarin. I followed the crowd out of the station, and the police officer in charge of reception was already waiting at the exit.

"Hello, thank you for your hard work!" The man was a young police officer in his twenties. He was short and sturdy, but he looked quite strong. He shook hands with Sean and Jason and introduced himself: "My name is Peng Fushi, you can just call me Xiao Peng. The Public Security Bureau is not far over there, we can walk there."

Walking out of the train station, they were faced with a main road in Jishou City. Looking around, they saw a city that was very different from S City. Jishou City was not as developed as S City. Whether it was the vehicles on the road or the buildings on both sides, they were a few years behind S City. However, it was surrounded by mountains and streams, and there was a sense of tranquility deep in the mountains.

The Jishou Public Security Bureau was less than a kilometer away from the train station. After walking for about ten minutes, they arrived. Captain Ma, who was in charge of reception, welcomed the two into the reception room. After a brief greeting, they got down to business.
