There were fashion shows for several consecutive days, and the entire magazine department was busy. Everyone was busy going to the shows during the day, and returning to the company to work overtime on the press releases at night.
It was past ten o'clock in the evening, but the lights on the floor where the magazine department was located were still brightly lit. In the editorial team's office, a group of people were busy writing manuscripts, and each of them had a cup of espresso on their desk.
The door of the editor-in-chief's office was knocked twice by someone outside. Alex Ye was concentrating on his work on the computer, his fingers jumping quickly on the keyboard, and he said the word "enter" without even raising his eyes.
Assistant Grace came in from outside, holding a midnight snack that she had just ordered. Seeing Alex Ye at the desk with a focused look on his face, she stood there for a while before saying, "Editor-in-Chief Ye, this is tonight's midnight snack. I put it on the table for you?"
Alex Ye nodded and said "hmm" without even lifting his eyelids.
