The hail came and went quickly. When Evan Zhao returned to the farm, the sky had cleared up. Thumb-sized ice crystals rolled down the green grass. Under the sunlight, the outer layer had begun to melt.
Evan Zhao jumped off the horse and carried Wei Qing, who had been protecting him all the way, to the ground.
After the four-headed body stood firm, the first thing they did was to open the cloth bag and check whether the wild duck eggs were intact. After confirming that none of them were damaged, they smiled brightly and said to Evan Zhao: "My dear, none of them are broken!"
"Okay." Evan Zhao touched Wei Qing's head and asked him to deliver the duck eggs to Grandma Sun.
"Ask Grandma Sun if she can hatch it. If not, cook it today."
